Golf Biomechanics 101 from Chris Welch

Chris Welch describes golf as a movement pattern

In my opinion the next wave of golf instructors will be placing a higher priority on biomechanics, which I define simply as the study of body movement.  For the intermediate player, I believe most of the potential improvement will come from increasing their CAPACITY to play well through improved fitness with an eye toward better biomechanics, or better movement patterns.  Golf is a motor skill and if you can’t break 90 chances are there is an issue with the way your body is working during the swing.

In this video, Chris Welch, developer of ZenoLink motion capture technology, gives a good introduction to Golf Biomechanics.
